We recommend Chusonji Temple and Motsuji Temple.

Is there any recommendable sightseeing spot where children and babies can enjoy?

We recommend Iwate Safari Park. There is a petting zone where you can touch rabbits and sheep.

We recommend Takkoku no Iwaya Bishamondo.

This is a spiritual energy site which may bring lucky with money. You may get the strongest talisman “Goohoin”.

Is there any activity nearby?

We recommend going around Hiraizumi by rental bicycle.

You can rent a bicycle at the rental shop near Hiraizumi Station. You can easily visit sightseeing spots if you use an electric bicycle.

How is the weather (temperature) over there?

You may feel rather cool (cold) in spring or fall compared with Tokyo even though it depends on the season.

The temperature may be going down especially in the evening and morning, please prepare warm clothes just in case.

The weather in summer is lower humidity and comfortable. The temperature rises in the daytime, but you may feel cool if you go under the shade of trees.

This is not the area with much snow, but there are many days below zero degree in winter.
